Joy To The World: Pure Holiday Magic

Amidst the chaos of our daily lives, Transendence Theatre Company gracefully reminds us to simply slow down with their beautiful production of Joy To The World. Filled to the brim with inspiration, powerful messages and holiday cheer, Joy To The World is an absolute must for this time of year.

A performance that entertains across interests and age groups isn’t easy to come by, but it can be said that Transcendence Theatre Company achieves this each time they step foot on stage. With Joy To The World, audience members bask in the thrill of the season, accompanied by a live orchestra ensemble and pure holiday magic.

Light-hearted numbers such as “Right Hand Man” and “Twelve Days After Christmas” provide us with an opportunity to chuckle at tradition and enjoy the treasures of memories past. Numbers more solemn such as “Silent Night” and “Count Your Blessings” allow us the chance to stand in someone else’s shoes, if only for a moment. In total, the performance reminds us to enjoy each moment and appreciate our surroundings.

Transcendence Theatre Company never disappoints with their zest for the performing arts and their immeasurable talents. It’s not an everyday experience to be sitting in the audience surrounded by bellylaughs one moment, and engulfed in a silence so intense one can hear a pin drop just moments after. With each performance and each new production, hearts are filled, reflections are made and hope is brought forth for a better tomorrow.

Although Joy To The World was only a one-weekend production, additional  opportunities to experience the joy that is Transcendence Theatre Company have presented themselves for the 2017 season. Be sure to experience their unique theatre presence at least once – you’ll surely be glad you did.

Tickets are now available for Transcendence’s next production – Best of Broadway Under the Stars. The Company can be seen at two different venues: Luther Burbank Center for the Arts, March 11 & 12, and Marin Veterans’ Memorial Auditorium, March 18 & 19. Ticket prices range from $39-$129.
