Within three days of arriving at Homeward Bound, each homeless individual and family-with the assistance of Homeward Bound staff-begins to devise an action plan to move home for good. An action plan might include goals such as finding a job, kicking a drug or alcohol habit, cleaning up bad credit, applying for subsidized housing, or learning new job skills. And because the ultimate goal of each resident is to find a place to call home, every action plan includes saving money for move-in costs.

Homeward Bound's services are divided into four programs that address each individual's particular needs.
